Hi, so no surprise I am just not good at the blogging thing. But, I wanted to share. I weighed myself this morning and I am 229.5!!!
When I started in May I was 237. The weight loss is slow, but I feel good about it.
I am still doing the Eat Clean diet thing...slowly transforming how I eat and doing more exercise. Yay!!!

Update! I am starting the Eat Clean Diet!
So, this 101 days is turning into quite the journey. I have discovered the for some strange reason, doing what I know I should do is hard. I have learned I am not really the best blogger. (No surprise, I have tried this before...) But, I have learned the, like the Velveteen Rabbit, I might be battered and scarred, but I can keep being loved and loving myself and taking the baby steps needed to get where I want to go.
Thanks to my favorite aerobics/Zumba instructor, Elena, I was turned onto the Eat Clean Diet and it is perfect for me. Not about restriction, or cutting foods out of the diet, but about eating the right foods in the right quantities at the right times. And, doing some common sense changes in food shopping like sticking to the outer aisles.
This weekend, where normally the food choices are decadent, the food choices have been spot on. My girlfriend made two of the Eat Clean recipes for us for dinner the past two nights. And, tonight, I was able to Eat Clean at Applebees! And, I have done Zumba this weekend, run for an hour in the pool, and played sports for another 2 1/2 hours this weekend with my staff.
I am so happy that this corner has been turned.
Thanks for staying with me, friends!
I will continue to post on a regular basis, but it may not be daily.
But, know that good days are ahead!

Breakfast: Bowl of sliced pears, whole wheat toast with butter, coffee, water
Lunch: Meat loaf, corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, water
PM Snack: 100 calorie bread with lunch meat, cheese slice, salad
Dinner: home made grilled chicken breast, salad, cous cous, water.

Day 13 - I press on to the prize!
Last night I power walked 4 miles for 1 hour, 6 minutes. It felt good!
Today was a busy day for work, but I moved a lot. No gym, but not a bad day for food. I am realizing I do not have a good relationship with food. Not sure if I need to do weight watchers or get a trainer or what...but, I need to do something.
Breakfast - 2 cups of coffee, glass of water, 240 calorie burrito - I know I need to eat better at b fast.
Lunch - Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer 270 calories, glass of water. 100 calorie Smart Food
PM Snack - soft pretzel, mustard, water
Dinner: Three small slices of cheese pizza, salad with thousand island dressing and lemonade.

Day 7 - I need a rest day!
No formal exercise on this, day 7 of 101...but, I wish I had put my pedometer on this morning. See, we are closing my hall of 430 students and I am having to move my own stuff into storage. I predict I walked 46,000 steps today...give or take a few.
I received some great nutrition advice from my friend, Erica, and will be implementing it moving forward. Almost glad I do not have a meal plan for the summer, puts the pressure on me to cook, but should help.
__________
Breakfast: 8oz OJ, two cups coffee no milk, 240 calorie bean and cheese burrito
Lunch: salad with chicken breast on top, waffle fries, lemonade
Dinner: chicken salad wrap, pasta salad, lemonade
Water: Lots!!!
